Cornbread
Ingredients:
- 2 Boxes of Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix (follow instructions)
- 1 Box of Jiffy Yellow Cake Mix (follow instructions)
- 1 can of Corn (drained)
- Cinnamon to taste 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla to taste or 1 tablespoon
Directions:
- Grease metal 10X13 (???) pan with butter, shortening or Pam
- In a bowl, crack and beat 3 eggs. Add muffin mix and cake mix, stir.
- Sprinkle in cinnamon and add a little vanilla
- Add milk to mix (look at directions on the corn muffin mix and cake mix to determine appropriate amount)
- Add one can of corn (drained)
- Add a small can of chopped jalapenos (optional)
- Sprinkle with cinnamon
- Bake at 375 for 25 to 30 minutes
Let cool and smother in butter and whatever else you so desire…..
Venison Marinade - Episode 6
Ingredients:
- Olive Oil
- 1 Box of Jiffy Yellow Cake Mix (follow instructions)
- Soy Sauce
- Cinnamon
- Rosemary
- Thyme
- Seasoning Salt
- Whiskey
Directions:
- Add equal parts liquid
- Add spices to taste
- Mix well
- Add Venison
- Flip meat half way through (if you are going to marinade for one hour, 30 minutes on each side)
- Marinade in an open container (do not refrigerate??)
- Grill 3 minutes per side for a good medium rare
Green Bean Medley - Episode 3
Ingredients:
- 1 Can of Green Beans
- Bacon - chopped, sautéed (aggressively)
- 1 Red Onion (no crying when cutting - use "I have something in my eye")
- 1 Yellow Squash (or any other color, we like color - no fingers)
May use asparagus, zucchini, carrots, or any other vegetables you desire.
Directions:
- In a large sauté pan, cook bacon, add onions and brown
- Slice squash and add to bacon/onion mixture
- Open can of green beans and add to all of the above
- Add salt/pepper to flavor
- Cook for approximately 3-5 minutes until beans are heated through (????)
Spinach - Episode 1
Ingredients:
Directions:
- Open can of spinach and drain, place in bowl
- Stick in microwave, heat for 1-2 minutes
- Be patient!!!
- Add salt/pepper to flavor
- Add vinegar, little salt and pepper, Enjoy
